How can I get coverage of a drug not listed on the Formulary?
Coverage of a drug not on the Formulary may be granted through the Exception Drug Status process. Physicians must apply in writing for coverage and must provide details of the patient's condition and the reasons why the medication is needed. Some Exception Drugs have specific usage criteria that Yukon Pharmacare have set.
